30.06.2026

The NavCart team of the Department of Electronic Computers at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took part in the final Demo Day of the Student Startup Fund Spring 2026 program, implemented by UNIT.City with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund.

Three months of intensive work, mentoring sessions, market analysis, hypothesis testing, and product development helped the team move from a startup idea to a fully functional MVP of an indoor navigation system for users in complex enclosed spaces.

NavCart is about technology, accessibility, and comfort. The solution is designed to help users navigate complex indoor environments more easily, find the necessary goods faster, and make the shopping process more convenient and safer.

Daniil Raptanov, a member of the NavCart team and a student of the SPm-25-1 group, shared his impressions of the program:

“After experiencing this atmosphere, I want to move forward even more – toward new goals and achievements, to invent and create innovations that will change the world.”

The final day of the program became a powerful source of motivation for the team. Strong student teams, promising ideas, founders already building their own startups, and the atmosphere of a dynamic technological environment once again proved that student projects can grow into real innovative products.

The NavCart team expresses its sincere gratitude to those who made this journey significantly easier: Andriy Kovalenko, Head of the Department of Electronic Computers, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor – for supporting the team, assisting with preparation, and providing the opportunity to work using the laboratory facilities of the department; Oleksii Liashenko, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Information Technologies, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor – for organizational support and assistance in the team’s participation in the program; and Maksym Shostak, Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of NURE Students – for his help and support in financing the team’s trip.

Stories like this prove that when there is an idea, a team, university support, and an inspiring environment, a student startup can make a truly powerful start.
