The international school “Modern Trends in Data Science” started its work in NURE

On November 18 the international school “Modern Trends in Data Science”, which is organized with the support of the rector of NURE Valerii Semenets and in cooperation of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics with the University of Applied Sciences VIKO (Vilnius, Lithuania), Kharkov ACM Chapter and will be held at the Vilnius University with a video link with participants of NURE from Brussels.

The work of the school was opened by the First Vice-Rector of NURE, Professor Igor Ruban and the Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics of VIKO University Professor Romanas Tumasonis. The Vice-Rector of the University of Radio Electronics Vasily Rossikhin, head of the Department of long-term development Maxim Kolisnyk and Oksana Tsukan spoke about the work of the Scientific Park “Synergy” and innovative projects of the University.

Also, as a guest speaker at VIKO, the school was attended by Professor of Computer Science Department Kirill Smelyakov and associate Professor of PE Department Anastasia Chuprina, who presented the project of the Data Science Lab NURE.
