On 24 April, an event was held to test auxiliary equipment for green energy. The use of small wind turbines is a leading trend in the green energy sector, ensuring that green energy is accessible to all.
Wind turbines and wind speed and direction measurement devices for small wind power plants have advantages over traditional ones because they do not pose a danger to birds and other wild animals, especially in urban environments. In addition, they generate low-frequency noise that is imperceptible to humans.
Teachers of the BMI Department of NURE tested a multifunctional device – an anemometer complete with a weather vane, which is used to measure wind speed, force and direction, which is important for the operation of wind power plants, as well as illumination, as this is an important indicator of the efficiency of solar panels. The device is also used to check the ventilation of industrial and work premises, housing, hospital wards and other medical facilities. Provides data on humidity, pressure, air temperature indoors and outdoors; the possibility of passage of air masses and even liquids; air consumption and power of its flows in compressor units and wind power plants.
The use of equipment for green energy provides alternative solutions for ensuring the educational process in conditions of power outages, and the implementation of green technologies in education corresponds to the implementation of the 7th Goal of the Sustainable Development of the United Nations – Affordable and clean energy.
We continue to work for Victory!
