Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, in partnership with Kharkiv IT Cluster and CodeIT4Life, is announcing the TechTALENT 2025 competition – an initiative aimed at supporting and developing IT talent among young people.
TechTALENT is a digital project competition for students aged 10 to 17 who live in Kharkiv or the Kharkiv region. Eligible participants include students who are already creating their own tech solutions – such as websites, apps, chatbots, and games – or who are working in the fields of programming, 3D modeling, or robotics.
The goal of the competition is to give young people the opportunity to showcase their talents, receive professional feedback from IT industry experts, and secure mentoring support for the further development of their projects.
To apply to participate in the contest, you must:
- Fill out the registration form;
- Upload your finished project or a prototype – provide a link to the code, mockups, or a demo version;
- Development work;
- Record a short video presentation lasting up to 3 minutes;
- Include a cover letter describing your idea, the project’s goals, and your personal interest in the project.
Projects will be evaluated by specialists from IT companies – members of the Kharkiv IT Cluster and CodeIT4Life – as well as faculty members from relevant departments at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. The focus will be on the project’s creativity and innovation, technical implementation and practical value, social significance for people, the city, and the region, as well as its authenticity and potential for development.
The top participants will have opportunities for further growth in IT and for carrying out projects, including:
- laptops, power banks, and other useful gifts;
- mentoring support from faculty at NURE and IT companies in the Kharkiv IT Cluster;
- the opportunity to continue working on the project in specialized labs or at the facilities of companies participating in the Kharkiv IT Cluster.
Applications will be accepted through May 10, 2025. By May 22, all participants will receive feedback, and finalists will receive an invitation to the closing event, which will include an awards ceremony and a mentoring session.
