Symposium “Education and Health of the Young Generation”

On May 11-14, 2021, the III International Symposium “Education and Health of the Young Generation” was held, which is dedicated to Europe Day in Ukraine and the 15th anniversary of teacher training in Ukraine.

The main directions of the symposium:

  • Philosophy and methodology of health education.
  • Status and educational and methodological support of teacher training in the basics of health: domestic and world experience.
  • Modern technologies of personality formation of a specialist in the basics of health, physical education, physical rehabilitation, practical psychologist, environmental and health education.
  • Medical and biological and valeo-psychological features of work with people with special educational needs.
  • Education of health in educational institutions of Ukraine and other countries of the world in the conditions of pandemic COVID-19.
  • Modern approaches to creation of health-preserving educational
  • Medical care of subjects of educational process: experience and prospects of development in modern conditions.
  • Medical-biological and valeo-psychological component of professional competence of the teacher.
  • Health culture personality as a strategy of health and environmentally friendly behavior.

Andriy Mykolayovych Lytvynenko, Candidate of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, took part in the symposium on behalf of NURE.

The report “Health-improving means of Ukrainian military culture in physical education of students” states that time-tested health-improving and training means of Ukrainian national martial arts, in particular horting, are widely used to strengthen students’ health at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. Horting is a modern national sport recognized by the state, which is based on the glorious fighting traditions of the Zaporozhian Cossacks. It is shown that the systematic scientific researches carried out by a group of teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of KNURE, give high efficiency of methods of improvement of the Ukrainian military culture. The results of these studies are presented in publications in the journal of the second quartile of Sport Mont (DOI: 10.26773/smj.201008, DOI: 10.26773/smj.210219), are a contribution to the achievement of SDG 3 – ensuring a healthy lifestyle and promoting well-being for all in all age.
