Students of three faculties of NURE took part in the international training programme

Students of 3 faculties of NURE, namely the Faculty of ACT, the Faculty of ITM and the Faculty of KN, took part in the international training programme Summer School Green Transition for Ukrainian students at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
At the invitation of the coordinator of the international project Green Transitions in Ukrainian Universities, funded by the Polish academic exchange agency NAWA, Daryna NENOVA, Kateryna STETSENKO, Anna SHEVCHENKO, Anastasia PRILIPKO and Oleksandra CHYHRYN, Olena PRONYUK and Nataliia LESHCHENKO, Iryna DEREVIANKO visited the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology from 18.09.2023 to 23.09.2023. During these days, students of NURE together with students from 6 other Ukrainian universities and teachers of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology discussed steps and actions aimed at implementing the SDGs set by the United Nations.
The topics of the workshops covered topical issues of green transformation, the formation of a new vision against the backdrop of modern challenges, the introduction of green development strategies, green energy saving technologies and lean manufacturing:
– Design Thinking for Innovation in 21st Century
– Green Business Models
– How to Create Happy City
– Green Project Management
– Many Eyes, One city
– Smart Cities: Urban Planning, Management & Technologies
– Sustainable Design Workshop
– Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) as a Part of Digital and Green Transformation of Production
– Methodology for Counting the Carbon Footprint
The summer school for 60 students of Ukrainian universities was held as part of the International Forum “VIII Unite! Dialogue” of the European consortium of 9 technical universities UNITE!, which was held these days at the Wroclaw University of Technology.
