Ambassador of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Dr. Valerii Y. Aleksandruk graduated with honors from Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics in 1978, PhD, Associate Professor.
Worked in 1989-1990 and 1991-1993 at the University of Tokyo. Invited Professor of the University of Tokyo.
Joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in September, 1995.
Graduated with honors from Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine in 1998.
Holder of a Diploma in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy.
He was successively appointed to:
- The Embassy of Ukraine in Tokyo, as First Secretary: 1995–1996, 1998–2001
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv, as Head of Asia and Pacific Division: 2001 – 2003
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv, as Deputy Director of the Fifth Territorial Department: 2003 – 2005
- The Embassy of Ukraine in Seoul, as Deputy Head of Mission: 2005-2009
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv, as Deputy Inspector General: 2009-2011
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv, as Deputy Director General of the Fourth Territorial Department: 2012-2014
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv, as Ambassador at Large of the Department of Middle East and Africa: 2014-2015
- From June 2015 till date: Ambassador of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- From May 2016 till date: Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Ghana and Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Benin
- From October 2016 till date: Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Sierra Leone.
