
Education and Career
He has been working at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics since 1971 as a Researcher, Assistant, Associate Professor, and Professor.
In 1977 he defended his Ph.D. thesis, and in 2004 he received his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Suboptimal control of multi-connected stochastic objects based on the Bayesian approach” (scientific specialty – “Systems and processes of control”).
In 1971 he participated in the development of computer control systems for engines of space aircraft (CB of electrical equipment, Kharkiv).
Since 2004 – Professor of the Department of Electronic Computing of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
From 2016 he is a professor of the department of electronic computing machines of KNURE, part-time.
Since 2016 – Head of the Department of Informatics and Computer Technics of S. Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics
Educational activity
Teaches courses: “Systems of digital information processing”, “Modern theory of control”, “Methods of computing intelligence”, “Theory of information and coding”
Research activities
Scientific interests: adaptive control of stochastic systems, modeling of dynamic systems, methods of computational intelligence.
Participates in the implementation of state budget and inter-governmental research projects on the development of theoretical foundations and mathematical support for computer processing systems of information and control systems. He is a member of the specialized academic councils K 64.055.03 (S. Kuznets KhNEU) and D 64.050.07 (NTU “KhPI”).
International activity / participation in international projects
In 1980-1981. passed a scientific internship in the universities of Czechoslovakia.
In 1985-1986 he participated in the scientific expeditions on examinations of hydrophysical automated stations in the Pacific Ocean.
In 1987-1990, for the trip of the Ministry of Education of the USSR worked as an assistant professor of the Department of Automation of the National Institute of Oil, Gas and Chemistry (Bumerdes, Algeria).
