Education and Career

1973 – graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of  Radio Electronics with the specialty in the field of electronic devices.

1981 – Candidate of Technical Sciences (Ph.D.), specialty “Automated systems for processing information and management of ferrous metallurgy”

1981 – Assistant of the Computer Engineering Department in the Kharkiv Institute of  Radio Electronics.

1985 – Senior Lecturer of the Computer Engineering Department in the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics.

1987 – Associate Professor of the Computer Software Department in the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics.

1995 – Deputy Dean for educational and methodical work of the Computer Science Faculty in the Kharkiv Technical University of Radio Electronics.

1999 – Professor of the Computer Software Department, Head of the Teaching and Methodological Department in the Kharkiv Technical University of Radio Electronics.

2003 – Vice-Rector for academic and methodological work in the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

2004 – Vice-Rector for scientific and pedagogical Work in the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

2006 – awarded the academic title of professor.

September 2013 – February 2014 – acted as the Rector of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

August 2015 – November 2015 – acted as Rector of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

2016 – Professor of the Software Engineering Department in the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

Educational activity

During her work she taught more than 10 academic disciplines on the specialties “Computers”, “Computer Software”, “Computer Science” and “Software Engineering” at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

Among these educational disciplines there are following: “Organization of computational processes of computers and systems”, “Probabilistic processes and mathematical statistics in automated systems”, “Multivariate analysis of statistical data”, “Intelligent data analysis”, etc.

Now she is carried out the management of pre-diploma practice and master’s degree works at the Software Engineering Department, take part in the qualification examination commission, which administer obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degree.

Research activities

2000-2015 – head of following scientific research works: “Development of new methodical and intellectual software for computer-oriented didactic systems”, “Development of the concept, methods and models of distance learning in the context of a multi-level educational system in the Ukraine”, “Development of software and hardware for the implementation of the information and educational environment in the interests of socio-economic growth of the Ukraine”, “Methods and technologies for creating of information and educational environment to produce the integration into the European Higher Education Area”.

Has prepared 6 Candidates of Technical Sciences (Ph.D.).

Direction of scientific activity – intellectual data analysis (data-mining).

International activities / participation in international projects

1999-2001 – participate in TEMPUS project UM_CP-20560-1999 “Development of New Framework for M.Sc.”.

2006-2007 – Individual European Mobility Grant IMG/UKR3015-2006

“Development of international cooperation by expanding of the experience in the field of licensing of  state/private educational institutions (III, IV levels of accreditation) and distribution of gained experience in the Ukraine”.

2007-2008 – Coordinator of TEMPUS project SM_SCM-T020B06-2006 “Towards Transparent Ontology-Based Accreditation”.

2011-2015 – participate in TEMPUS project 516935-TEMPUS-1-2011-1-FITEMPUS-SMGR “Towards Trust in Quality Assurance Systems – TRUST”.

State Awards

2005 – Certificate of Honor by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “For Merit to the  Ukrainian nation”.

2009 – honorary badge “Excellent worker of education of Ukraine” (Ministry of Education of Ukraine).

2013 – honorary title “Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine”.
