1988 – Engineer-mathematician, Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics, speciality – Applied Mathematics. Graduate work topic – “Optimization of convex functions on Euclidean combinatorial sets”.
1992 – Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, Institute for Problems in Machinery of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kharkiv, speciality: 01.05.02 – Mathematical modeling and computational methods. Thesis topic is “Mathematical models and methods of solving of optimization problems on combinatorial set of arrangements”.
1996 – Associate Professor of Department of Systems Engineering, Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics.
2007 – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Institute for Problems in Machinery of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kharkiv, speciality: 01.05.02 – Mathematical modeling and computational methods. Thesis topic is “Mathematical models and methods of combinatorial optimization in geometric design”.
2007 – Professor of Department of Systems Engineering, KNURE. From 01 Sep 2013 he is Head of Department of System Engineering KNURE.
Educational activity
Teaches courses: Decision Making Theory, Probability theory, probability processes and mathematical statistics (Ukrainian and English), Models and methods of decision making in system design, Combinatorial models and methods in design, Systems modeling, Discrete mathematics.
Research activities
Scientific interests: Combinatorics, Combinatorial Generation, Combinatorial Optimization, Combinatorial Optimization Problems of Placement of Objects, Mathematical Modeling, The vehicle routing problems.
Scientific and technical achievements: methods for formal description, enumeration and generation of combinatorial sets having given properties on the ground of primary combinatorial sets; methods for solution of combinatorial optimization problems with convex objective functions on combinatorial sets with linear constraints; mathematical models of combinatorial optimization problems of placement of geometrical objects; interval mathematical models of combinatorial optimization problems on interval combinatorial sets.
Member of two specialized doctoral boards for thesis defense D 64.52.02 (KNURE) та D 64.180.01 (ІPМаch NАSU) –on speciality 01.05.02 – “Mathematical modeling and computational methods” (technical sciences).
