And on the renewed earth

There shall be no enemy, no adversary,

There shall be a son, there shall be a mother,

And there shall be people on the earth.

The community of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics gathered for an artistic event honoring Taras Shevchenko. The meeting was dedicated to the 212th anniversary of the poet’s birth and the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Shevchenko National Prize.
The event lyrically interwoven the Kobzar’s poems, his paintings, and works by Shevchenko Prize laureates. Poetry by the Ukrainian Genius was read by Vice-Rector Larysa Karpova, as well as staff members of the Scientific Library, the History Museum, the Department of Ukrainian Studies, the Student Club, and the NURE Press Service.

“The works of Taras Shevchenko have not lost their relevance; to this day, they speak triumphantly to the heart of every Ukrainian,” noted Rector Ihor Ruban.

Taras Shevchenko is about our identity, history, uniqueness, spiritual wealth, and faith in the victory of goodness and truth!
