The article “Responsible cognitive digital clones as decision-makers: a design science research study” by the authors V. Terziyan, M. Golovyanko (Department of AI), S. Grishko (Department of ) co-authored with the Finnish colleague T. Tuunanen (University of Jyvaskyla) was published in the first quartile European Journal of Information Systems by Taylor & Francis.
The article is devoted, in particular, to the TRUST portal (www.portal.dovira.eu ) introduced with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in four universities (NURE, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, the Ukrainian Catholic University, and the National Academy of Cultural and Art Leadership).
The study proposes an IT artifact (Pi-Mind agent) to digitally duplicate decision makers with their unique competencies. Pi-Mind agents can learn the decision-making capabilities of their “donors” in a special learning environment based on generative competitive networks.
The research focuses on how to ensure organizational resilience through a Pi-Mind agent that can imitate human decision-making and has the invaluable advantage that the technology is not subject to intentional and unintentional biological threats.
The results of the TRUST portal ecosystem functioning with the support of Pi-Mind technology are presented:
The ontology knowledge base contains more than 400,000 user-registered resources. More than 5,000 personal and corporate users and their academic achievements were registered on the portal, which allowed testing decision-making procedures using the new technology.
