In March 2024, the international humanitarian organization Handicap International (Humanity & Inclusion) held extremely important training sessions for students of the Faculty of Information and Communication.
Each training consisted of two lectures:
Lecture 1. Training on risks associated with explosive objects. During the first lecture, students learned about the problem of landmines in Ukraine, the types of explosive objects found in Ukraine, and the rules for handling them.
Lecture 2. How to prepare and protect yourself during armed conflict. During the second lecture, students learned about the rules for preparing a safe shelter, emergency bag, emergency backpack, and evacuation plan during armed conflict, rules of conduct during an attack in various locations (in a building, vehicle, open area), rules for evacuation from a populated area and returning to a permanent place of residence, and rules for assisting people with limited mobility during evacuation.
