On July 22, the Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Azerbaijan Mehrali Gasimov paid a working visit to the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
Rector of NURE Valerii Semenets greeted the guests and told them about our university. He noted that since Soviet times, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan have studied and are studying here. That is why we are interested in cooperation with organizations and institutions of higher education in Azerbaijan.
Rustam Kuliev – Director of the Ukrainian Center in Azerbaijan and Kamran Nuriev – Assistant Director of the Ukrainian Center in Azerbaijan presented the directions of the Ukrainian Center and opportunities for cooperation with our university. Lyaman Abbasbeyli, the founder of the strategic department of StudyLab, spoke in detail about the educational programs that are proposed to be implemented on the basis of the Ukrainian Center with the help of NURE.
During the working meeting, the parties signed a partnership agreement and discussed issues related to the recruitment of Azerbaijani citizens to study at KNURE and the creation of courses in the field of “Information Technology” on the basis of the Ukrainian Center in Azerbaijan.
In addition, the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Corporate Work and Administration Vasyl Rossikhin acquainted the guests with the equipment and work of the Science Park “Synergy”.
Today’s meeting took place as a result of a working visit of the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Murad Omarov to Azerbaijan as part of the official Ukrainian delegation and with the assistance of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky.
