On September 28, the Kharkiv City Council hosted a teleconference between representatives of leading universities of Kharkiv and Shenzhen (People’s Republic of China). Representatives of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took part, namely: First Vice-Rector Igor Ruban, Head of the International Relations Department Tetyana Tkachova, Head of the Problem Laboratory of Radio Monitoring and Radio Technical Information Processing Mykola Kalyuzhny and Head of the Ukrainian-Chinese Cooperation Department Valeriy Orlenko. “The development of cooperation with international partners allows scientists and teachers of our university to participate in various international programs and conferences. Only in the last school year, despite the quarantine restrictions, we managed to create unique opportunities for international cooperation and take top places in various rankings”, said Igor Ruban in his report.
The event was also attended by First Deputy Major of Kharkiv Oleksandr Novak, Acting Consul General of Ukraine in Guangzhou Dmytro Komkov, Deputy Director General of the Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office Gu Tim and Deputy Director General of the Shenzhen City Bureau of Education Zhang Leilin. During the teleconference, representatives of higher education institutions of both countries discussed promising areas of cooperation, including the implementation of joint cultural and scientific and technical projects, student exchange, etc.
