On July 4, an official educational exhibition featuring Ukrainian higher education institutions was held in Baku, organized jointly by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Center for International Education, and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event was aimed at expanding educational cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, as well as informing prospective students and their parents about current opportunities for higher education in Ukraine.
At the opening of the exhibition, Mykola Trofimenko, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, delivered a welcoming address online
The exhibition was attended by Hikmet Javadov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Chair of the public organization “United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis in Ukraine” , Director of the Ukrainian State Center for International Education Olena Shapovalova, Political Affairs Advisor at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan Emir Rustamov, a representative of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan (TKTA), and other officials.
Twenty-two leading Ukrainian universities participated in the exhibition, including Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. The universities presented bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral (PhD) programs, as well as international dual-degree programs. Visitors received detailed information about fields of study in Ukrainian and English, admission requirements, educational opportunities, and the process for obtaining student visas.
