A presentation of the work of Ivan Khorunzhyi, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, took place at the museum of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
Ivan, whose call sign and pen name is “Khorunzhyi,” was born in Lviv. Since childhood, he has been passionate about reading and writing his own texts. The full-scale war did not become an obstacle to his creative journey. After joining the Armed Forces in 2022, he continued writing, and in 2025, his first book saw the light of day – The Era of Inhumans: The Price of Success. Currently, the author is already preparing the second volume of the work for publication.
The writer works in the science fiction genre. According to him, it is this genre that grants complete freedom, offering no limitations for unfolding complex and engaging plots.
University staff and students joined the meeting with the author. Thanks to the special atmosphere of the university museum, the presentation turned into a vibrant platform for discussions on art during wartime, the development of Ukrainian fiction, and the role of modern technology in the book creation process.
