From October 26 to 30, 2026, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hosted educational tours for students from special schools of the Kharkiv region.
The visits were organized through the joint initiative of the NURE History Museum, the “NURE without Limits” Accessibility Service, and the “Open Path to Higher Education” Preparatory Department. The University welcomed students from Special Schools No. 5, No. 6 and No. 11, as well as the Kupiansk Special School, together with their teachers and parents.
The guests had an opportunity to discover different aspects of history, science, and culture. During the tours, they visited the “Of Cossack Lineage” art exhibition, explored the retro radio collection, and visited the Museum of Childhood.
The visit to the University became a series of small discoveries. The students could hold a model of the Moon, try playing the traditional Ukrainian tsymbaly, listen to a vintage radio player, and learn more about Ukrainian traditions, art, and the history of technology.
Live communication, new experiences, and opportunities to discover personal interests and future prospects gave the meetings particular value.
Such initiatives are an important part of NURE’s inclusive career guidance activities. Becoming familiar with the University, its educational environment, different areas of study, and opportunities for personal development helps school students take their first steps towards making an informed choice about their future education and profession.
One of the most rewarding moments of the visits was the students’ question: “How can we apply to study here?” It demonstrated that such meetings can not only provide new experiences but also inspire young people to see new opportunities for their future.
NURE continues to develop an open and accessible educational environment where every young person can discover their abilities, develop their interests, and see new prospects for further education.
