On June 19-23, a regular working meeting on the Green Transition for Ukraine Universities (GTUA) project was held in the Austrian city of Graz (Styria) at the TU Graz University of Technology.
The project is funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA.
NURE was represented by the project coordinator from the university, Dean of the Faculty of ACT, Professor Oleksandr Fylypenko. The main objectives of the meeting were to study the experience of the region and TUGRAZ University in the formation and implementation of programs for a neutral impact on climate change – Climate Neutrality 2040. The working issues of the GTUA consortium on the development of green standards for Ukrainian universities were also addressed. The topics of the stakeholder survey were formed to identify courses that would allow Ukrainian university students to participate in programs to promote the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and prepare for the summer school for students through the microcredit system. The meeting was organized with the support of the members of the consortium of European technical universities UNITE!

The representatives of Ukrainian universities were greeted by Rector Prof. Harald Kainz of the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz).
