On September 16–17, 2025, Lviv hosted Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2025 — the world’s largest investment summit dedicated to defense technologies, organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Brave1 initiative. Rector Ihor Ruban, along with a delegation of NURE faculty members and students, took part in the event.
The event brought together over 5,000 participants, including 1,500 guests from more than 50 countries. It was attended by 300 investors who witnessed the vital importance of Ukrainian technologies firsthand, representing venture capital funds and investors from Ukraine, Europe, and the US, as well as end-users of defense solutions, leading companies, and startups.
NURE representatives engaged in discussions, networking, and presentations of solutions in unmanned systems, AI, and computer engineering — fields that shape the modern asymmetric doctrine of warfare.
The summit served as a platform for investing in battlefield-tested solutions and scaling innovations that are already impacting global security.
