The finals of the BubbleCup International Programming Championship, hosted by Microsoft, will take place on October 4 in Belgrade, Serbia.
The team of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics “Energy is not over” consisting of Andriy Shanin, Oleg Wallas and Matviy Aslandukov, under the leadership of associate professor of software engineering Oleksandr Vechur, got into the top two teams of student programmers in Ukraine.
In order to reach the final of the championship it was necessary to pass two rounds of selection, which lasted two months, to compete with the leading teams of Europe and the world and from the hundreds of the best teams it was necessary to get into the top 15 finalists. In addition, the rules were tightened this year and only the two best teams from the country could reach the finals.
BubbleCup is a prestigious international competition that allows Ukrainian students to compete with the strongest teams in the world.
