Rector of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Ihor Ruban and representatives of the University’s student community took part in a regional event dedicated to First-Year Student Day.
The participants were welcomed by Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, Chair of the Kharkiv Regional Council Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko, and Head of the Youth Congress of the Kharkiv Region Mariia Bella Beihel.
Despite the challenges of wartime, the Kharkiv Region remains one of the major centres of student life in Ukraine. In 2026, 21 higher education institutions operate in the region, and this year they welcomed more than 19,000 first-year students — future Bachelor’s degree students.
NURE is an integral part of the large educational and student community of the Kharkiv Region, which continues to study, develop and build the future even under the difficult conditions of war.
