Students of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took part in the championship of the Kharkiv region on the Ukrainian national type of martial arts – Cossack duel, which took place from 17 to 19 September in Dergachi. According to the results of the competition, the athletes of the University of Radio Electronics, masters of sports of Ukraine, Veronika Govorova and Veronika Roshka won gold and silver medals of the championship. Currently, the girls are preparing for the Ukrainian championship in Kyiv, where they will represent the Kharkiv region. The coaches of the athletes are teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of NURE Andriy Lytvynenko, Heorhiy Krukovsky, Roman Khromykh.
