On November 19-20, the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hosted the XIV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “National Liberation Struggle and Formation and Preservation of the Statehood of Ukraine“,organized by the Department of Ukrainian Studies of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics together with the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The organizing committee included: Rector of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Valerii Semenets, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Management of NURE, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Oleksiy Lyashenko, Head of the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens of NURE, Ph.D. Vasyl Yavtushenko, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of NURE, Ph.D. Victoria Tsyganenko, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of NURE Alla Serhiyeva, Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty № 6 KhNUIA, Dr. Volodymyr Grechenko, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty № 6 KhNUIA, Ph.D., Associate Professor Vitaliy Zaborovsky, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty № 6 KhNUIA, Ph.D. Natalia Kobylko.
This year the conference brought together 75 participants from different parts of Ukraine. More than 50 reports were heard over two days.
According to the results of the conference, students of the University of Radio Electronics took the following places:
Section I “Historical way of formation of independence of Ukraine”
2nd place – Vitaly Nesterenko (group PZPI-20-3)
Section II “Reflection of national revival in literature and culture. The role of language in the process of state formation”
1st place – Igor Michurin (group PZPI-20-3)
3rd place – Elina Kudiyarova (group PZPI-20-3)
Section III “Philosophical and political aspects of Ukraine’s struggle for national independence”
2nd place – Margarita Kiselgova (group PZPI-20-5)
Due to the general epidemiological situation, the event was conducted online.
