16.02.2022

In 2019, students of the Department of Information and Network Engineering of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics IMI-19-2 Andrew Ponomarev and Dmitry Kotov took part in the Erasmus + academic mobility program. In the autumn of 2021, they continued their studies and became students of the Czech University again, studying disciplines for a master’s degree. In November 2021, they successfully passed the postgraduate exams and are currently studying at the third level of education, which provides, in case of successful implementation of the academic plan and timely and successful defence of the dissertation, obtaining the title of Doctor of Philosophy in Telecommunications and Radio Engineering that is equal to the candidate of technical sciences in the same field in Ukraine.
During postgraduate studies, they must conduct academic research on the chosen topic, and the results of these studies should be published in international peer-reviewed journals. Presentation of research achievements and substantiation of the significance of the results in front of a circle of well-known scientific experts in the chosen field is the final stage of postgraduate study and recognition of candidates as valid PhDs in the chosen field, ie confirmation of their knowledge and research results. It should be noted that each of the guys has two supervisors – at the University of Pardubice and at NURE.
It will be recalled that since October 2015, within the framework of the international academic mobility program Erasmus + (KA107 International Credit Mobility), under an agreement between the Czech University of Pardubice and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, students of Information and Network Engineering regularly study in Czech university.
In 2020, the Erasmus + International Academic Mobility Program (KA107 International Credit Mobility) has been extended until 2024.
Students from 3-4 years of age can take part in the Erasmus + International Academic Mobility Program (KA107 International Credit Mobility), provided they successfully study and know a foreign language at the appropriate level.
