The dual form of education enables students to combine university studies with practical work in their future profession, apply academic knowledge to real-world tasks and gain relevant professional experience before graduation.
This format of professional development is being implemented by Anastasiia Tryzna, a student of the Faculty of Information and Analytical Technologies and Management at NURE, group SAUm-25-1, who combines her studies at the University with work at the Gas Transport Research Institute, a branch of Ukrtransgaz JSC.
Working in the metrology department, Anastasiia applies her knowledge of mathematics, statistics and machine learning to real professional and research tasks. Her practical work is supported by experienced specialists of the enterprise. Her mentor, Viktor Lutsenko, together with colleagues, shares professional experience, provides guidance and helps her master practical approaches to solving work-related tasks.
A flexible work schedule allows Anastasiia to combine her professional responsibilities with university classes, examinations and additional studies.
Dual education gives students an opportunity to become familiar with their future profession in practice before graduation, work alongside industry professionals, develop professional competencies and make more informed decisions about their future career path.
The experience of a NURE student demonstrates how combining university education with workplace-based training can bring academic studies closer to the real needs of modern industry and contribute to preparing specialists capable of working with current technologies and practical challenges.
