Tymur Khaperskyi, a student of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics from group AKTSI-25-1, has once again demonstrated an outstanding level of athletic skill and proudly represented Ukraine and NURE on the international stage.

On 13 June 2026, prestigious international acrobatic rock ’n’ roll competitions were held in Budapest, Hungary, where Tymur competed as a member of the Ukrainian national team.

At the World Cup in the Main Class Contact Style discipline, he demonstrated a high level of technical mastery and confidently advanced to the final, competing against some of the world’s strongest acrobatic rock ’n’ roll athletes.

Tymur Khaperskyi achieved his greatest success at the World Championship in the Formation Juniors discipline. As a member of the Ukrainian national team, he won the gold medal and earned the title of world champion. The Ukrainian team’s performance became a remarkable example of professionalism, unity, perseverance, and an indomitable sporting spirit.

It is particularly gratifying that Tymur not only successfully combines his studies at NURE with remarkable sporting achievements but also actively contributes to the development of student sports at the university. He is responsible for sports and mass-participation activities at NURE, coordinates the work of faculty representatives responsible for sports activities, and encourages students to engage in physical education and sports.

Thanks to his initiative, responsibility, and organisational skills, the university regularly holds sporting events, tournaments, and health and fitness programmes aimed at promoting an active lifestyle among students.

Tymur’s achievements are the result of many years of hard work, self-discipline, determination, and a constant desire for improvement. Through his victories, he honours Ukraine and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics on the international sporting stage, demonstrating that NURE students can successfully combine academic studies, community engagement, and elite-level sport.

The staff and students of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics sincerely congratulate Tymur Khaperskyi on his outstanding achievement and world champion title. We wish him new victories, inspiration, good health, and continued success in both his studies and sporting career!
