On 3 July, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hosted an official meeting between Twinning Ukraine Programme Director Oleksandr Smirnov and NURE Rector Ihor Ruban.
The meeting was also attended by the Twinning Programme coordinators: Professor Kyrylo Smeliakov, Head of the Department of Software Engineering, and Associate Professor Anastasiia Chupryna of the Department of Software Engineering.
For several consecutive years, NURE has been one of the most active participants in the international Twinning initiative, successfully implementing large-scale academic and research collaboration projects with universities across the United Kingdom. This cooperation provides students and academic staff with new opportunities for professional development, international mobility, and joint research.
Among the most significant achievements of the partnership are the implementation of dual Master’s degree programmes, the organisation of international summer schools, academic and research exchange opportunities for students and faculty, the development of joint research projects, and the launch of new educational initiatives.
During the meeting, the participants reviewed the outcomes of the projects already completed, identified strategic priorities for further cooperation with existing international partners, and discussed prospects for establishing new partnerships.
