NURE Strengthens Expertise in Gender Equality and Inclusion

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics continues its systematic work on implementing the Strategy for the Implementation of Gender Equality in Education until 2030.

The University focuses on ensuring equal opportunities for higher education students and staff, fostering a corporate culture of respect for diversity, and combating all forms of discrimination.

An important step in this direction is professional development for university specialists. Alina Ovchenko, a specialist from the “NURE Without Limits” Accessibility Service, completed certification within the project “Promoting Women’s Equality in Labor Law and Gender-Oriented Advocacy in Ukraine.”

This initiative is part of the University’s comprehensive strategy and aligns with the NURE Gender Equality Plan, the Policy on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 5 — “Gender Equality.”

Our shared goal is to build a safe, barrier-free, and professional environment where everyone has equal opportunities for self-realization.

The project was implemented with the support of the NGO “Divchata” in partnership with SODI and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
