On September 30, Ukraine marks the All-Ukrainian Libraries Day. On the occasion of the professional holiday, representatives of the University administration, the trade union organization, and heads of NURE structural units visited the Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics to congratulate its staff and express their gratitude for their professional, responsible, and dedicated work.
The Scientific Library team was congratulated by NURE Rector Ihor Ruban, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Larysa Karpova, Deputy Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization Serhii Selevko, Head of the NURE History Museum Uliana Tymchuk, and Director of the University Student Club Oleksandra Murashko.
During the meeting, Director of the NURE Scientific Library Liudmyla Vlashchenko addressed the staff. She thanked her colleagues for their resilience, professionalism, and dedication throughout the years of the full-scale war and expressed her gratitude to the University administration for its continuous support and attention to the needs of the Library.
Liudmyla Vlashchenko spoke about the Library’s current activities, outlined the challenges it faces today, and presented the team’s key achievements. The NURE Scientific Library currently operates in 25 areas and carries out more than 45 types of activities, providing comprehensive information, digital, research, and educational support to the University community.
The University administration emphasized the important role of the Library in the life of NURE as one of the key centers for preserving, organizing, and sharing knowledge, as well as supporting the University’s educational and research activities.
A warm part of the celebration was the presentation of holiday gifts to the Library staff from the University trade union committee. The guests wished the team good health, peace, inspiration, professional growth, and new achievements.
