NURE Research Presented in an International Monograph on Cybersecurity

07.08.2026

Research results by representatives of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering at NURE have been included in the international monograph “Advancements in Cybersecurity: Next-Generation Systems and Applications”, published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group).

NURE Research Presented in an International Monograph on CybersecurityThe editorial board of the monograph includes Professor Oleksandr Lemeshko, Head of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering, and Professor Oleksandra Yeremenko. The monograph brings together contemporary research in cybersecurity, networking technologies, artificial intelligence, digital forensics, data analysis, threat modelling, software and hardware security, and other promising areas of information technology.

Research results obtained by NURE scientists are presented in two chapters of the monograph, prepared by members of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering in cooperation with students and research partners:

Lemeshko O., Yeremenko O., Yevdokymenko M., Porokhniak V., Harkusha S., Harkusha O. System of Routing Solutions Based on Security-Aware Traffic Engineering Models. Advancements in Cybersecurity: Next-Generation Systems and Applications. CRC Press. 2025. pp. 253–271.
DOI: https://doi.org/10.1201/9781003546153-11

Lemeshko O., Persikov A., Yeremenko O., Mersni A., Yevdokymenko M. Research and Development of Normalized Link Blocking Models in Secure Traffic Engineering Routing for Programmable Networks. Advancements in Cybersecurity: Next-Generation Systems and Applications. CRC Press. 2025. pp. 413–428.
DOI: https://doi.org/10.1201/9781003546153-19

The chapters address current challenges related to security and Quality of Service in modern software-defined infocommunication networks and present research conducted at NURE within the framework of international research projects and partnerships.

The publication of NURE researchers’ results by CRC Press, together with the participation of University representatives on the monograph’s editorial board, demonstrates the strong research expertise of NURE in cybersecurity and its continued integration into the international research community.

We congratulate NURE researchers and their partners and wish them further scientific achievements, productive international cooperation, and successful implementation of new joint research initiatives.
