NURE Representatives Took Part in Global Tech Kharkiv 2026 and the Digital Booster Programme

A delegation of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took part in the large-scale technology forum Global Tech Kharkiv 2026 and the parallel Digital Booster Forum programme, organised with the support of the European Union, EDIH Eastern Ukraine and Kharkiv IT Cluster.

The University community was represented at the event by Oleh Zolotukhin, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences; Iryna Pobizhenko, Head of the Department for Coordination of Educational Programmes and Academic Exchange; Olha Yeroshenko, Chair of the NURE Council of Young Scientists; Viktor Kauk, Associate Professor of the Department of Software Engineering and Scientific Supervisor of the Centre for Distance Learning Technologies; and NURE student Mariia Mazurova.

The event, held on 19 August 2026, brought together representatives of government, local authorities, business leaders, international donors and the academic community. The forum focused on:

  • the role of technology and digitalisation in strengthening the resilience of frontline regions and the wartime economy;
  • attracting investment in technology start-ups, energy independence and defence-tech initiatives;
  • developing human capital for digital transformation and strengthening synergy between higher education and the IT industry;
  • practical cases of support for and digital modernisation of small and medium-sized enterprises within the Digital Booster project.

The participation of NURE representatives in the forum’s panel discussions and networking activities contributes to strengthening cooperation with Kharkiv IT Cluster, integrating innovative approaches into educational programmes and creating new opportunities for joint technological and educational projects.
