October 20, 2023, a webinar was held for experts on the examination of projects of basic scientific research, applied scientific research, scientific and technical (experimental) developments.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Denys Kurbatov.
During the event, information was provided on:
– a new module of the National Electronic Scientific Information System, which will be used for project evaluation;
– the main requirements for the work of experts, details of the conditions that will avoid a hidden conflict of interest.
In particular, the following issues were addressed:
– acquaintance with the Code of Expert of the Competitive Selection of Projects for Basic Research, Applied Research, Scientific and Technical (Experimental) Development and Evaluation of the Results of their Implementation, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 04 October 2022 No. 885, registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 14 October 2022 under No. 1238/38574 (as amended)
– on the main tasks of the Expert Ethics Commission established by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1094 dated 02 December 2022;
– on the organisation of an appropriate level of scientific and scientific and technical expertise of research and development;
– on the peculiarities of gaining access and working as an expert in the competition module.
The webinar was held for experts approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1111 dated 12.12.2022.
