On 9–10 July 2026, the University of Genoa, Italy, hosted a coordination meeting of participants in the international Erasmus+ KA2 project “Universities and Communities: Strengthening Cooperation” (UNICOM). The event brought together representatives of partner organisations from Ukraine, Italy, Latvia, Germany, Sweden and other countries.
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was represented at the meeting by Oleksii Liashenko, Viacheslav Radchenko and Vladyslav Diachenko.
The participants reviewed the progress of the project and worked on developing common criteria for assessing the third mission of universities, including their contribution to community development, support for social initiatives, technology transfer and the implementation of innovations.
NURE’s participation in the UNICOM project contributes to the adoption of European practices, the development of universities’ social responsibility and stronger cooperation between the academic community and Ukrainian communities.
