The Department of Biomedical Engineering has received specialized equipment for prosthetics/orthoprints and bioprints from the French organization Handicap International Humanity & Inclusion.

Representative of the separate unit of the international organization, was a senior technical specialist in prosthetics/orthosis – Alexander Kuznetsov, who is the applicant of the second (master’s) level of higher education, educational program “Biomedical engineering”. The department received 3D printer, supplies and components for prosthetics and orthotics.

Within the framework of the signed memorandum on cooperation with the French organization, technical training of teachers of the Department of Biomedical Engineering on the use of 3D printer for the manufacture of prostheses and orthoses of lower extremities will be conducted.

International cooperation with organizations that fulfill humanitarian missions at the universities of Ukraine contributes to improving the quality of preparation of applicants for all levels of higher education of biomedical direction, which, in turn, meets the achievement of the goals of sustainable development of the UN.
