On December 21, within the framework of the UN Development Program in Ukraine within the framework of the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Program with the financial support of the European Union, a set of wireless Starlink Internet was received in the dormitory of NURE, where internally displaced persons live.
It should be reminded that thanks to the joint efforts and the built-up strategy of cooperation between the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration and NURE, with the constant support of the UN, the dormitories of our university hospitably received more than 180 internally displaced persons whose houses were destroyed or damaged as a result of racist bombings and rocket attacks.
Thanks to the efforts and cooperation of the United Nations, represented by the head of the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme Niels Christensen, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, represented by the head Oleg Sinegubov, his deputy Vita Kovalska, Director of the Department of Science and Education Oleksiy Litvinov and NURE represented by the Acting. Rector Ihor Ruban, – during the first month of residence of the IDPs, the dormitories were equipped with microwave ovens, kettles, refrigerators, washing machines, electric stoves, repairs of individual floors, re-equipment of electrical networks, etc.
