The final of the nationwide engineering competition Future in Action Hackathon was held in Zhytomyr on 17–18 July 2026. The event was organised by Noosphere Engineering School within the Noosphere ecosystem. This year, participants formed 90 teams and submitted 69 technology projects, with 34 of the strongest teams advancing to the final.
A team of students from the NURE Online Radio Engineering Club, consisting of Anastasiia, Oleksandr and Artem, presented the project and won second place in the under-18 category.
RadioEmergency is a system designed to provide emergency vehicles with automatic priority at signal-controlled intersections and to alert other road users in advance. The project aims to improve road safety and reduce the response time of emergency services in urban environments.
This achievement is the result of dedicated work, technical expertise, creativity and effective teamwork. It is particularly encouraging to see an interest in radio engineering and technology develop into a promising project capable of addressing important societal challenges.
We sincerely congratulate Anastasiia, Oleksandr and Artem on their outstanding result. We wish the team continued success in learning, experimentation and the further development of their technological ideas.
Special appreciation goes to Yurii Lykov, Head of the NURE Online Radio Engineering Club, for his professional guidance, support for young engineers and significant contribution to their preparation.
NURE is proud of its young innovators and wishes them many more victories!
