NURE Preparatory Department “Open Path to Higher Education” Invites School Students to Study

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics invites school students to study at the Preparatory Department “Open Path to Higher Education”. The pre-university training programme is aimed at high-quality mastery of academic subjects, development of modern digital competencies, and career guidance for future applicants.

The main goal of the preparatory department is to create conditions for successful preparation of students for admission to higher education institutions. The programme helps school students systematise their knowledge, prepare for the NMT / External Independent Evaluation, develop practical skills in information technology, engineering and natural sciences, as well as improve critical thinking, creativity and research abilities.

The educational process at the preparatory department combines NURE’s many years of experience, modern teaching methods, practical orientation of classes, and instruction by university specialists. This approach ensures a comfortable transition for school students into the world of modern education and helps future applicants better understand their professional interests.

The preparatory department offers several areas of study.

Preparation for the NMT / External Independent Evaluation for students of grades 9–11 covers the key subjects required for successful admission:

  • Mathematics;
  • Ukrainian language;
  • History of Ukraine;
  • Physics;
  • English language.

Modern computer courses for students of grades 1–11 are aimed at developing digital literacy, algorithmic thinking and practical technology skills. The areas include:

  • basics of computer use;
  • programming: Scratch, Python, C++, C#;
  • web development;
  • graphic and digital design;
  • artificial intelligence and neural networks;
  • robotics;
  • 3D modelling and 3D printing;
  • digital creativity and project activities.

A separate Science block is designed for students interested in research, experiments, and natural and mathematical disciplines. It includes mathematical logic, engaging physics, STEM projects and research workshops.

The admission of documents for study begins on 1 July 2026. Classes are scheduled to start in the second half of September 2026.
