The British rating agency QS has published the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023.
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics entered the ranking for the subject Computer Science & Information Systems in the group 451-500 and improved its position compared to last year’s 501-550.
In total, the subject ranking in the discipline Computer Science & Information Systems includes 5 Ukrainian universities. NURE took 2nd place among Ukrainian universities and 1st place among Kharkiv universities.
Among the 5 Ukrainian universities:
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute – 351-400,
Lviv Polytechnic, NURE and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv – 451-500,
V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University – 551-600.
Five indicators are used to compile the Computer Science & Information Systems rankings: academic reputation – 40%, employer reputation – 30%, number of citations per article – 12.5%, h-index – 12.5% and international research network (IRN) – 5%.
The threshold for inclusion in the ranking is 140 publications indexed by Scopus per year in the subject of Computer Science & Information System
