The Web of Universities Ranking (Webometrics) has published a new international ranking of universities around the world.
The commission evaluated more than 30,000 universities from around the world, including 306 from Ukraine. The evaluation criteria are based on: the number of external sources that contain backlinks to the institution’s web pages; the number of citations of university researchers on Google Scholar Citations; the number of articles by the institution’s researchers over a five-year period that are among the most cited according to Scimago. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics entered the top 10 Ukrainian universities and took sixth place in the ranking.
