British publication Times Higher Education has released World University Rankings 2023 by subject.
Like last year, the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics entered the ratings for Computer Science and Engineering.

In Computer Science NURE retained its position in the 401-500 group, in Engineering NURE improved its position, rising to the 601-800 group from 801-1000 last year.
THE subject rankings use the same 13 indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings:
Teaching – 30%.
Research – 30%
citations in NMB Scopus – 27.5%
International cooperation – 7.5%
Income from innovation – 5%.
The publication threshold for inclusion in the Engineering and Computer Science subject rankings is 500 publications over 5 years.
The Computer Science ranking includes 974 universities compared to 892 last year, the Engineering ranking includes 1306 universities compared to 1188 last year.
Among Ukrainian universities NURE ranked 2nd in the subject rankings for both computer science and engineering.
Overall, NURE is included in the Times Higher Education world rankings, subject rankings and impact rankings.
In order to remain in any rankings in these super-tough times, it is necessary to maintain scientific potential and publication activity in highly ranked academic journals.
