The History Museum of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics invites everyone to the presentation of the book “The Price of a Smile. Chronicles of the Museum of Childhood” by Valerii Leiko, a staff member of the NURE History Museum, historian, guide and educator.
The book is devoted to the experience of working with children and young people in Kharkiv during wartime, the importance of historical memory, patriotic education and the preservation of Ukrainian identity.
It is a story about real experiences, meetings, communication and work with the younger generation during an extremely difficult period for Kharkiv and Ukraine.
During the presentation, the author will speak about the creation of the book, the stories that inspired it, and the role of museum and educational activities in preserving memory and strengthening national identity.
