Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics held a workshop for schoolchildren of grades 9-11 “Just about the complex: Working with big data”, during which 35 students of Kharkiv schools had an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with one of the most promising areas of the IT industry-work with big data Big Data”.
During the event, together with certified specialists of the center “SAP”, teachers of the Department of Software Engineering told teenagers about the importance of big data processing for decision-making in the digital world, forecasting, data visualization and capabilities of the SAP Predictive Analytics product.
In addition, the workshop participants took part in the preparation of mini-projects on data analysis and visualization, according to the results of the presentation of which the organizers awarded the best projects with prizes and diplomas.
Also within the framework of the initiative, the organizers held a round table for teachers of Informatics “Digitalization of life and teaching of Informatics in a modern school”.
It should be noted that the event was implemented by the Ukrainian scientific and educational it society and the SAP Academy NVND Center within the framework of the grant initiative “Meet and Code”, which is being implemented in Ukraine by the GURT resource center in cooperation with the organizations TechSoup Europe and Haus des Stiftens gGmbh , with the financial support of SAP (Germany).
