November 26, 2019 in NTU “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” at a meeting of the Council of Vice-rectors for scientific work and Directors of scientific institutions of the Ministry of education and science were announced the amount of public funds for science over the past 3 years.
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics entered the Top 20 universities in Ukraine, which received the most funding according to the results of the competition of scientific projects. 4 Kharkiv universities-KhNU, KHPI, KhAI and NURE are represented in this Top 20 universities with the largest budget of research projects.
This is the highest rate among regional universities.
First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Yuri Polyukhovich noted that from next year the best research areas in universities should receive basic funding in addition to competitive one .
