Athletes of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, as part of the national team of Ukraine, took part in the 8th World Cossack Duel Championship. According to the results of the competition, NURE student Veronika Govorova and Associate Professor of the Department of Media Systems and Technologies of the University of Radio Electronics Yulia Dorofeeva became world champions. Veronica Roshka won a silver medal.
The event took place from December 10 to 12 at the Lokomotiv Sports Palace. In total, more than 600 athletes from 7 countries took part in the competition.
