Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and the Ukrainian deep-tech company A42 have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at advancing education and research in cybersecurity through artificial intelligence technologies.
The V. V. Popovsky Department of Infocommunication Engineering at NURE will contribute to the implementation of the partnership. Starting from the new academic year, A42 educational materials, practical case studies and technological developments are expected to be incorporated into Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in F5 Cybersecurity and Information Protection.
The cooperation will cover key areas of AI Cybersecurity, including automated security testing, the use of artificial intelligence for cyber threat detection and the development of intelligent agents supporting cybersecurity professionals.
Joint research will focus on protecting digital systems, identifying vulnerabilities and introducing intelligent automation into cyber defence processes. The cooperation will be coordinated on behalf of the Department by Professor Maryna Yevdokymenko.
The partnership between NURE and the technology company will strengthen the practical component of education, support new research initiatives and align the training of future cybersecurity professionals with current industry needs.
