Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Murad Omarov took part in the II International Conference on the topic “Information security: problems and prospects”. Which was held on November 25 at the University of Azerbaijan. The event, organized by the University of Azerbaijan together with the University of Radio Electronics and the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, was devoted to the rapid development of information technologies and their full penetration into all spheres of human activity in the current conditions of unauthorized access, use, disclosure, distortion, modification, research, recording of information or devoted to scientific-theoretical, practical and technological aspects of preventing destruction.
The Hybrid Conference was opened by Yusif Hasimov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the University of Azerbaijan, who greeted the participants on behalf of Rector Saadat Aliyeva and the staff of the University. In his speech, Mr. Hasimov thanked other co-organizers of the event, scientists and engineers who presented the results of their research in the field of information security.
Murad Omarov, on behalf of the Acting Rector of NURE Igor Ruban and the entire staff, also greeted the participants. And in his opening remarks he noted that although the University of Radio Electronics, which he represents, planned to participate in the event with a large delegation, but it is impossible because of the ongoing war in Ukraine, and therefore scientists will take part in the conference online. He also stressed the importance of training in the field of information security and drew attention to the cooperation between the University of Azerbaijan and the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, which began in 2019. In addition, Murad Omarov noted the importance of further strengthening relations.
The plenary session of the conference was addressed by Vice-Rector of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Murad Omarov with the report “Cybersecurity Education: Challenges and Prospects”, Director General of the Institute of Management Systems of the Ministry of Education and Science, Academician Ali Abbasov with the report “Artificial Intelligence in Information Security: Problems and Prospects”, Professor of the Department of ICE of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Marina Yevdokimenko with the report “Security-based routing models with engineering support of traffic”, as well as Head of the Department of Computer Systems and Networks of the Azerbaijan Technical University,
