Ahead of the 2026/2027 academic year, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Ihor Ruban, as well as NURE researchers and academic staff, took part in a series of educational events held in Kharkiv and communities across the region.

NURE Rector Ihor Ruban met with educators of the Kholodnohirskyi District of Kharkiv during the August conference “Educational Navigator: From Results to New Horizons.” During the event, a distinction from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was presented to Liudmyla Lutsenko, Head of the Education Department of the Kholodnohirskyi District Administration of Kharkiv City Council.

Ihor Ruban thanked the district’s educators for their reliable partnership, active cooperation in career guidance for young people, and joint efforts in developing the educational environment of Kharkiv.

During the conference, representatives of the NURE Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies, Automation and Robotics — Professor Serhii Novoselov, Associate Professors Rauf Allahveranov, Oksana Sychova and Dmytro Nikitin, and Senior Lecturer Roman Strilets — presented an exhibition showcasing the University’s scientific and technological capabilities.

NURE also participated in the educational forum of the Novobavarskyi District of Kharkiv, “Educational NEXT – 2026.” The University was represented by Zhanna Deineko, Head of the Department of Media Systems and Technologies, Maksym Sydorov, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics, and Associate Professor Oleksandr Suprun of the Department of Media Systems and Technologies.

During the previous academic year, NURE, together with educational institutions of the Novobavarskyi District, implemented a number of educational, STEM and career guidance initiatives. The University contributed to preparing 11th-grade pupils for the mathematics component of the National Multisubject Test, organised specialised seminars for teachers, held Artificial Intelligence in Media Days, and implemented other joint activities.

Mariia Shyrokopetlieva, Senior Lecturer at the NURE Department of Software Engineering, took part in a meeting of the educational community of the Saltivskyi District. She thanked educators for their cooperation and presented the educational, research and professional opportunities offered by Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

Another area of cooperation was implemented in the Blyzniuky community of the Kharkiv Region. With the participation of Dmytro Vodianytskyi, Senior Lecturer at the NURE Department of Artificial Intelligence, an information and discussion event entitled “Artificial Intelligence in the Educational Process: Principles, Relevance and Challenges of Use” was held.

The meeting took place within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the University and the district education centre and focused on discussing modern approaches to the use of artificial intelligence technologies in education.

Such initiatives demonstrate the practical implementation of NURE’s partnership with educational institutions of Kharkiv and the region. They are aimed at developing teachers’ digital competencies, exchanging experience, promoting STEM fields and disseminating modern educational practices.

NURE enters the new academic year together with the educational community of the Kharkiv Region — through partnership, dialogue and joint work for the development of education, science and technology.
