On September 24–26, a delegation from the Department of PFEE NURE (Oleksandr Gnatenko and senior lecturer Mykola Gerasymenko) paid a working visit to Lithuania.
During the trip, meetings were held with leading scientific and industrial partners:
Ekspla — one of the world leaders in the production of picosecond and femtosecond lasers;
Fizinių ir technologijos mokslų centras (FTMC);
Lietuvos lazerių asociacija;
VU Fizikos fakultetas Laser Research Center;
Light Conversion, one of the world leaders in the production of ultra-short pulse lasers;
Rasting Laser Technology and the Lithuania for Ukraine Foundation.
As a result of the visit:
areas of scientific and educational cooperation were agreed upon;
student and teacher exchanges and participation in international programs were agreed upon;
the process of signing official partnership agreements with all organizations was initiated.
An important part of the trip was also a visit to the Baltic Photonics 2025 international conference, where we learned about the latest scientific developments and industrial solutions in the field of laser technologies and photonics.
The visit to Lithuania was a significant step towards integrating NURE into the international scientific community, expanding partnerships, and creating new opportunities for students, teachers, and researchers at the university.
We are sincerely grateful to our Lithuanian colleagues for their warm welcome, support, and willingness to move forward together.
