A working meeting was held between Igor Ruban, acting rector of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, and representatives of JSC “Ukrtransgaz” regarding the implementation of a dual system of higher education.
Also present at the meeting were Nikita Zdorik, coordinator of the dual higher education program at NURE; Alina Mikhnova, head of the Academic Affairs Department; and faculty members from the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies, Automation, and Robotics and the Department of Applied Mathematics.
Dual education enables employers to participate more deeply in the educational process, as it increases their influence and allows them to contribute to the development of educational programs and the updating of educational content. This ongoing collaboration improves the quality of educational services and provides students with opportunities for future employment.
The purpose of the meeting with representatives of JSC “Ukrtransgaz” was to lay the groundwork for future cooperation, clarify mutual expectations, and agree on key organizational aspects, while defining the direction of efforts to implement dual education in the educational process and develop educational programs.
As a result of the meeting, we now have a clear understanding of our partner’s expectations and the university’s capabilities. We also identified priority tasks and agreed on key organizational details for our future work.
The results of the meeting were discussed with the department chairs whose departments could potentially implement a dual system of higher education, specifically Andriy Kovalenko (Computer Science), Maksym Sydorov (Mechanical Engineering), Ihor Nevlyudov (KITAR), and others.
